The programme aims to equip students with skills to collect, integrate, analyse, and present engineering data. Students will learn how to collect data through smart devices, preform effective data transformation and storage, conduct data analysis and visualization for engineering applications, including programming, systems theory, database management and statistics. As data is stored in the cloud and requires secure transmission, students will also learn about cloud computing and Internet-of-Things (IoT) Cybersecurity. Additionally, students can enhance their professional skills in Digital Twin, Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT), Computer Vision, and other related applications through elective courses.

The programme is designed with an emphasis on generic and language training, whole-person development and workplace experience to better prepare students for further studies and employment after graduation.
