Programme Aims | This programme aims to prepare students for technical, supervisory and managerial positions in the building industry and for further study to become professionals. This programme is designed with an emphasis on generic and language training, whole-person development and workplace experience to better prepare students for further studies and employment after graduation. | |
Career Prospects | Graduates may be employed as construction supervisors, technical officers, assistant engineers, assistant project manager/coordinator, maintenance officers, etc. | |

Professional Recognition | This programme is recognized by the Hong Kong Institute of Construction Managers, the Hong Kong Institute of Clerks of Works and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Graduates with relevant work experience are eligible to become Grades T1 to T3 of Technically Competent Person (TCP) of specific streams and scopes under the Site Supervision Plan System of the Buildings Ordinance. Graduates completed the required module of the programme will be issued with Green Cards which fulfills the Mandatory Basic Safety Training requirement for working in construction sites. This programme is a CIC-accredited BIM Coordinator (CCBC) Course*. *Including a pass in the elective module “Building Information Modelling for Construction Management". | |
