    Part-time (Daytime) Lecturer (Architecture)
    School for Higher and Professional Education (SHAPE)

    The School for Higher and Professional Education (SHAPE) is a self-financed arm of the Vocational Training Council (VTC). It offers top-up bachelor degree programmes to VTC’s Higher Diploma graduates and other sub-degree  holders in collaboration with overseas universities.  Applications are now invited for part-time Lecturer post for the programmes of BA (Hons) Architecture offered at SHAPE (DILWL) in the academic year 2023/24.

    Programme: BA (Hons) Architecture – University of Lincoln, UK
    Subject Areas:
    (I) Architecture Research Projects
    (II) Comprehensive Design Project – Outline Design
    (III) Comprehensive Design Project – Detailed Design
    (IV) Comprehensive Design Project – Technical Studies
    (V) Global Professional Context
    Major Duties:
    (a) To conduct lectures and tutorials;
    (b) To carry out academic related administration duties, including marking assignments and serving in academic and other related meetings;
    (c) To prepare teaching and learning package; and
    (d) To participate in school projects and functions, where necessary.
    (a) A recognised Master’s degree in related disciplines and/or equivalent professional qualification;
    (b) At least 4 years’ relevant teaching / work experience in the respective field;
    (c) Good communication and presentation skills in English; and
    (d) Preference will be given to candidates who have teaching experience in the related fields.
