Major Duties: |
(a) |
To provide technical support to teaching and learning activities in laboratory classes and other special projects as assigned; |
(b) |
To assist in trouble shooting, acquisition, installation and inventory management of all equipment, hardware and software; |
(c) |
To prepare and install equipment and facilities in laboratories; and |
(d) |
To maintain the safety and tidiness of the laboratories / workshops. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A recognised diploma or higher certificate in Electrical / Electronic Engineering / Computer Studies or equivalent; |
(b) |
At least 2 years’ relevant work experience; |
(c) |
Practical knowledge and skills of setting up / demonstrating experiments for students, maintenance of laboratory equipment, workshops and computer hardware / software installation / maintenance is preferable; and |
(d) |
Candidate(s) with knowledge in one or more of the following area(s) would be an advantage: |

(i) |
Electrical power and drives; |
(ii) |
Electrical installation; |
(iii) |
Arduino software and hardware; |
(iv) |
Bambu 3D printer software and hardware; and |
(v) |
AutoCAD. |

Note: |
Classes are normally held on weekdays, from 6:45 p.m. to 9:45 p.m., and occasionally in the afternoon /evening of Saturdays as necessary. |
