Major Duties: |
(a) |
To install and operate the equipment including computer hardware and software; |
(b) |
To provide technical support and assist in providing equipment loan service for staff and students; |
(c) |
To take charge of day-to-day system maintenance and compile system reports, update operation documents and guidelines; |
(d) |
To assist in the procurement and inventory control of relevant stores, software licenses and consumables; and |
(e) |
To assist in set up and operate multimedia equipment, including cameras, AR and VR devices, lighting, audio systems for events and productions. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A recognised diploma or higher certificate in a relevant discipline; |
(b) |
At least 2 years’ relevant work experience; |
(c) |
Good knowledge of operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of computer hardware and networking; |
(d) |
Experience / knowledge / skills in some of the following areas will be an advantage: |

(I) |
Macintosh platform; |
|
(II) |
Setup and operation of AR / VR Equipment for Multimedia laboratory; |
(e) |
Ability to work independently and be a good team player; and |
(f) |
Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with teaching staff and students. |

Notes: |
(1) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
(2) |
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties at different sites and/or outside normal office hours. |
