The School for Higher and Professional Education (SHAPE) is a self-financed arm of the Vocational Training Council (VTC). It offers top-up bachelor degree programmes to VTC’s Higher Diploma graduates and other sub-degree holders in collaboration with overseas universities. Applications are now invited for Part-time (Daytime / Evening) Lecturer / Project Supervisor posts offered by SHAPE (Sha Tin) for a full-time / part-time degree programme, BSc (Hons) Health and Social Care, in the academic year 2025/26. |

Major Duties of Lecturer: |
|
(a) |
To conduct lectures / workshops / seminars / perform teaching duties at the bachelor’s degree level; |
|
(b) |
To mark and provide guidance / feedback on students’ assessments and projects; |
|
(c) |
To develop, review and prepare teaching and learning packages with both international and local contexts and practices and to develop assessment materials, where necessary; |
|
(d) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration, such as serving in academic and other related meetings; and |
|
(e) |
To participate in school projects and functions and attend professional training and/or seminars, where necessary. |

|
Major Duties of Project Supervisor: |
|
(a) |
To supervise research projects at bachelor’s degree level; |
|
(b) |
To mark and provide guidance / feedback on student’s assessments and projects; |
|
(c) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration, such as serving in academic and other related meetings; and |
|
(d) |
To participate in school projects and functions and attend professional training and/or seminars, where necessary. |

Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised master’s degree in relevant discipline(s) and/or equivalent professional qualification; |
|
(b) |
At least 4 years’ relevant teaching experience at tertiary / degree level or relevant work experience in related industries; and |
|
(c) |
For the post of Part-time Project Supervisor, experience in research, dissertation / project supervision is preferable. |
