The Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi) is a member institute of the Vocational Training Council (VTC), established in 2012. It is an innovative, professional and entrepreneurial organisation committed to greening and sustainability. THEi offers over 20 professional "Applied Science-Oriented" undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes across six Academic Departments: Department of Food and Health Sciences, Department of Construction, Environment and Engineering, Department of Sport and Recreation, Department of Hospitality and Business Management, Department of Design and Architecture, and Department of Digital Innovation and Technology. These programmes integrate theoretical knowledge with practical applications cover industries with growth potential in Hong Kong and the Asia-Pacific region, ensuring that students can apply what they learn effectively. THEi’s undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes are accredited by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications, as well as by the relevant professional bodies where appropriate. By adopting an applied Science-Oriented teaching approach, THEi equips students with professional skills and knowledge to meet various future challenges upon graduation. Major Duties: |
|
The appointee will be required to collect general information, conduct literature review, survey, and experiment, analyze data, write the technical report and academic papers, and perform other research duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator (PI). |

Requirements: |
|
For the post of Research Assistant I, applicants should have a recognised Master’s degree in Chinese Medicinal Pharmacy, Management or related disciplines, or a recognised degree in related disciplines with work experience in research of chinese medicine, pharmacology, microbiology, clinical trial, or product development and with publication record. Applicants are expected to apply for external competitive research grants and/or have rich project management experience. |

For the post of Research Assistant II, applicants should have a recognised sub-degree in Chinese Medicinal Pharmacy, or related disciplines. Applicants with research experience related to medical science or with project management experience will be preferred. |
|
|
|
Applicants for the above posts should have good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, good administrative, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a strong sense of responsibility, good work initiative and an ability to work independently. |

Notes: |

Candidates may be appointed on temporary or part-time employment. |
|
(2) |
The appointee may be required to perform duties at different sites and work irregular hours, shifts and on Saturdays and Sundays as necessary. |
|

The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. |
|
(4) |
The appointee will work at the Tsing Yi / Chai Wan Campus. |
