Rotary Hong Kong Vocational Scholarship Supports around 190 VPET Students — Unite For Good, The Power of Human Connection

2026 marks the eleventh year of the Rotary Hong Kong Vocational Scholarship in the VTC. The Rotary Hong Kong Vocational Scholarship Awardees Sharing Session was held at the Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (Chai Wan Campus). Members of Rotary International District 3450 (RID3450), VTC representatives, alumni and awardees gathered to celebrate the recipients’ achievements.
As Guest of Honour, Ms Cassy Cheng, District Governor of Rotary International District 3450, shared her entrepreneurial journey and used real-life examples to encourage students to persevere in adversity. She urged students to pursue their ambitions with perseverance, flexible thinking, and strong networks. Ms Florence Chan, Deputy Executive Director of VTC, thanked RID3450 for more than a decade of steadfast support for VTC and VPET, crediting the partnership with widening learning pathways, strengthening vocational skills, and fostering social responsibility. She also encouraged awardees to uphold Rotary values, serve their communities, and “Unite for Good.”
Awardees expressed their sincere gratitude to RID 3450 for motivating them to push beyond their limits and strive toward their goals, and for providing numerous community service opportunities that allowed them to meet people from all walks of life and broaden their social networks.
