Visit by Education Commission Delegation
The Chairman of the Education Commission, Dr David WONG, and members of the Commission, joined by Permanent Secretary for Education, Ms Michelle LI, visited IVE (Tsing Yi) to learn about the latest development of vocational and professional education and training (VPET) and VTC, including the newly established member institution HKIIT. Delegation members toured the training facilities of the campus and interacted with students to understand their learning experiences at VTC, their study achievements, and their future aspirations.

Visit by Sichuan Provincial United Front Work Department and China Vocational Education Association Delegation
A 7-member delegation led by Vice Minister of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee of Sichuan Province, Mr WEN Su (third from the right), and Director of China Vocational Education Association of Sichuan Province, Ms WANG Xiaoqing (second from the right), visited IVE (Tsing Yi). The delegation met with VTC Deputy Executive Director, Ms Aliana SHUM (fourth from the right) to learn about the latest development of the VTC including its collaboration with Mainland parties.

Visit by Under Secretary for Education
Mr Jeff SZE, Under Secretary for Education visited HKDI, IVE (Tsing Yi), Youth College (Kwai Chung and Yeo Chei Man) campuses on 4 and 25 August, where he toured around the campuses training facilities and met with the teaching team and students.

The Chief Executive, Hon John LEE led a visit to the International Culinary Institute (ICI), touring various training facilities to understand ICI's development in training talent in culinary arts and for the food and beverage industry, and exchanged with students to understand their learning experience and career aspirations.

Consul-General of Thailand in Hong Kong, Mr Chaturont CHAIYAKAM (right), led a delegation to visit Chinese Culinary Institute and International Culinary Institute. The delegation met with VTC Executive Director, Mr Donald TONG, to exchange views on driving VPET development in both Hong Kong and Thailand.
