Hong Kong Chinese Enterprises Association together with the China Development Bank HK Branch Donate to VTC in Supporting the WorldSkills Competition

The HKCECF, charity arm of the HKCEA, and the CDB Hong Kong Branch donate HK$600,000 to VTC to support the Hong Kong competitors in their preparation and participation in the 48th WorldSkills Competition. The Hong Kong Chinese Enterprises Association (HKCEA) and the China Development Bank (CDB) Hong Kong Branch have jointly donated HK$600,000 to the Vocational Training Council (VTC) in support of the Hong Kong delegates for their preparation and participation in the 48th WorldSkills Competition. This donation also aims to promote the development of vocational and professional education and training (VPET).
The Cheque Presentation Ceremony was held on 19 December at the Innovation and Technology Co-creation Centre, located on the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE) Morrison Hill campus. Mr XU Wei, Director (Local Affairs Department) of HKCEA, Mr LI Xiguang, Chief Executive of CDB Hong Kong Branch and Mr Donald TONG, VTC Executive Director officiated the Ceremony.
