The Vocational Training Council (VTC) and the Professional Validation Council of Hong Kong Industries (PVCHK) co-organized the industrial visit to Huizhou on 29 January 2024 for Yeung Kin Man Youth Industrial Incubation Programme. Around 100 students and teachers from the VTC’s Business, Information Technology, and Engineering Disciplines participated in the visit to enhance their understanding of the development of the high-end manufacturing industry in the Greater Bay Area (GBA).

Students visited the production bases of BIEL Crystal (Huizhou) Limited and Ka Shui Technology (Huizhou) Co., Ltd. They were impressed by the operation of various smart technology systems and gained an in-depth understanding of the industrial applications of innovative technologies, as well as employment and entrepreneurship opportunities in the GBA.

The Yeung Kin Man Youth Industrial Incubation Programme was established in the academic year 2017/18, and has benefited over 2,300 students since its inception. Through year-round industrial exchanges, competitions, company visits and talks from industry experts, it deepens young people’s knowledge of industrial developments and prospects, encourages them to pursue a career in the related industry, and nurtures vocational and professional talents for the society.
