VTC holds flag-raising ceremony in celebration of 73rd Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China
The Vocational Training Council (VTC) today held a flag-raising ceremony on campus in celebration of the 73rd Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China. VTC Chairman, Mr Tony TAI, Council Members, Executive Director, together with staff and students attended the ceremony to wish our Nation continued prosperity.
As President Xi Jinping mentioned in his important address made on 1 July this year that we must give special love and care to young people, and guide young people to be keenly aware of the trends in both the country and the world; and create more opportunities for their development and accomplishment.
VTC will continue to promote the distinctive advantages of Vocational and Professional Education and Training (VPET), helping young people to master and enhance professional knowledge and skills as well as to realise their dreams and ambitions. VTC will also encourage young people to seize the opportunities brought about by the National 14th Five-Year Plan, the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, as well as the unique advantages under “One Country, Two Systems” to integrate into national development and build a bright future together.
