Announcement of New Directorate Appointment

Ir LAI Siu Sai Anthony

Ir Anthony Lai has been appointed as Assistant Executive Director, and will assume the role of Principal of IVE (Tuen Mun) cum Deputy Academic Director (Engineering) to take charge of campus operations and support the strategic development of the Engineering Discipline.

Ir Lai is a seasoned educator with deep academic leadership and extensive industry networks. Prior to this appointment, Ir Lai had amassed a broad range of academic and student administration knowledge and expertise, particularly in programme management, along with solid academic department administrative experience for nearly 20 years. 

Ir Lai holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, and a Master’s Degree in Building Services Engineering (The Hong Kong Polytechnic University). He is a Corporate Member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, as well as a Chartered Engineer with the UK Engineering Council and a Chartered Professional Engineer with the Institution of Engineers Australia.
