Announcement of New Directorate Appointment​

Ir WONG Chun-main, Andrew

Ir. Wong has been appointed as Assistant Executive Director and will assume the role of Director of the Estates and Campus Development Office. In this capacity, he will provide strategic leadership for VTC’s estate portfolio and campus development. He will lead the formulation and implementation of the Council policies and strategies for capital works, alterations and additions projects, asset lifecycle planning, facilities management and property management services. He will work closely with Member Institutions and corporate functions to ensure that VTC’s campuses provide safe, sustainable, technology-enabled and industry-relevant learning environments in support of VPET development and institutional objectives.

Ir Wong is a seasoned Professional Engineer and possesses over 30 years’ experience in Hong Kong’s infrastructure, construction and estate management sectors. Prior to this position, he held senior management posts in the public and private sectors and with expertise in major capital works, programme and project management, procurement, building maintenance and facilities management.

Ir. Wong holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering (The Plymouth University of United Kingdom). He is also a Fellow of The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers and a Chartered Civil Engineer of the Institution of Civil Engineers.
