Honorary Fellowships

Mr Anthony KEUNG brings over 50 years of experience in knitwear trading, manufacturing, fashion, food, and lifestyle retailing. He pioneered the introduction of high-quality yarns from Japan to Hong Kong manufacturers, raising the production standards of the local textile industry.
 

Mr KEUNG is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of Fenix Group Holdings Limited (Fenix), where his leadership has diversified the company’s operations, positioning Fenix as a prominent fashion retailer in Hong Kong. A retail subsidiary of Fenix was awarded the 2016 Hong Kong Awards for Industries - Customer Service Grand Award. Mr KEUNG has also expanded Fenix into the food and lifestyle sectors.
 

As a key figure in the fashion and textile sectors, Mr KEUNG is highly regarded in the industry for his ability to bridge manufacturing with fashion design and retail. As the Vice Chairman of the Textile Council of Hong Kong, he advocates for the textile industry, and has held leadership positions in various industry associations, including Honorary Chairman of the Knitwear Innovation and Design Society, and Committee Member of Hong Kong Woollen & Synthetic Knitting Manufacturers’ Association. In addition, he took up advisory positions in the higher education sector.
 

Mr KEUNG has made significant contributions to the VPET and the VTC through his participation in the Design Institute Advisory Board from 2012 to 2024.
 

Mr KEUNG has always been very supportive in nurturing VPET talents. Over the years, Fenix has offered internships and job opportunities to students of Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI). He has also provided donations and in-kind support to foster student development, benefiting nearly 400 Design students throughout the years. Furthermore, he actively supported VTC events by showcasing outfits from a renowned denim brand for the inaugural "Hong Kong Denim Festival." Additionally, Mr KEUNG has continuously facilitated numerous potential industry collaboration opportunities for HKDI to enhance HKDI’s popularity and network in the fashion community.
