Innovation x Application Scheme 2.0

The Hong Kong Young Industrialists Council Foundation generously sponsored to set up the Innovation x Application Scheme 2.0 (Scheme) aiming to unleash students’ creative and innovative talents and explore commercialisation opportunity through competition.  On 1st June, the Final Pitching and Award Presentation of the Scheme was held at HKDI VTC Auditorium where 350+ students and esteemed guests witnessed the event.

The Scheme supported a competition this academic year to attract 27 enthusiastic student teams from various disciplines competing for trophies, of which 6 of them were shortlisted and passed the qualifying finals.  They subsequently underwent a series of intensive training including prototyping, writing up business plans and brushing up their presentation skills.  Finally, the IVE-Shatin team successfully clinched the championship with their project “Time Traveller – Life Education x Escape Room” which was designed using participatory education approach.  The victorious IVE-Shatin team, together with other two medalists, were awarded financial support from the Hong Kong Young Industrialists Council Foundation, achieving their entrepreneurial dreams.
