The Programme activities integrate two important development strategies: the Belt and Road Initiative (B&RI) and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) development. It aims to promote Hong Kong’s industries while deepening young people’s understanding of industrial innovation and future opportunities. The Programme seeks to inspire young people to pursue careers in industry, nurture new industrialization talent and help develop new quality productive forces.
Established in the 2017/18 academic year with the generous support of Dr Yeung Kin-man, SBS, JP, the Programme has since benefited over 2,600 students in business administration, information technology, and engineering. This initiative significantly contributes to Vocational and Professional Education and Training (VPET) and supports Hong Kong's industrial development.
