Outstanding Industrial Attachment Scholarships and VTC Design Education Fund Presentation Ceremony 2022 was organised on 12 November 2022 at the campus of Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Haking Wong). Awards were presented to 400 students in recognition of their excellent achievements during their industrial attachment.
We were honour to invite Dr Allen SHI Lop Tak, BBS, MH, JP, President of the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong, to be the Guest of Honour at the Ceremony. Dr SHI not only showed his heartfelt congratulations to all the outstanding awardees, but also highlighted the courage of overcoming challenges and the self-motivation for lifelong learning as the key to success in retrospect. He urged the awardees to take every learning opportunity to attain skills and knowledge of innovation and technology for their future careers.
We sincerely thank the industry partners and employers for their generous donations over 14 years. The Scholarships granted over 4,400 students to go beyond the career expectation and realise their full potential.
