Mr K S Cheng Memorial Scholarship – 100 Students Begin Their Pursuit of Passion Journey

Every great achievement begins with a dream.  Mr. K. S. Cheng Memorial Scholarship, established in 2012, has served as a vital catalyst, empowering VTC students to bridge the gap between aspirations and reality. Over the past 13 years, this extraordinary opportunity has transformed the lives of more than 600 students. This year, we are proud to welcome 100 new awardees, selected from over 400 applicants based on the clarity of their dreams and the strength of their implementation plans.

The Journey of Transformation 
The true impact of the Scholarship was brought to life at the Awardee Sharing Session held on 13 November at IVE (Morrison Hill).  Student recipients shared heartfelt accounts of their inspiring journeys, illustrating how this support has been a cornerstone in their pursuit of passion.

• Fostering Perseverance: 
  Persist, and your dream will gradually materialize. I took a major step toward promoting Roundnet and, for the first time, felt it was truly within reach.
• Nurturing Courage & Determination: 
  Receiving the success notification was like a quiet promise: "Give your all to every leadership program. Leave the rest to me." 
• Empowering Social Impact: 
  The scholarship freed me from everyday worries, allowing me to devote myself fully to volunteer service. I could be present in my community, helping to create meaningful change through small, deliberate steps.
