Since its inception in 2018, the Chevalier Group Scholarship has supported 240 students spanning diverse engineering discipline, encompassing Civil Engineering, Surveying, Building Studies, Electrical Engineering, and Computer and Electronic Engineering. This scholarship programme is designed to identify and cultivate exceptional engineering talent within VTC, driving sustainability in the industry.

The recent Scholarship Presentation Ceremony on 23 August 2024, showcased the impact of this initiative.  With over 100 attendees including guests, teaching staff and students, the event honoured scholars who have excelled in Higher Diploma and Diploma of Vocational Education programmes.  This annual ceremony underscores the Chevalier Group's unwavering confidence in and backing of vocational and professional education and training at VTC.

We express our deep appreciation to Mr KUOK Hoi Sang, MH, the Chairman and Managing Director of the Chevalier Group and his team for their generous dedication to nurturing young talents.  Their support goes beyond financial assistance, offering practical opportunities like site visits, internships and job placements.  Students gain hands-on exposure to various fields such as mechanical and electrical engineering, lift maintenance, and environmental engineering, equipping them for the dynamic industry landscape.

The collaboration between VTC and the Chevalier Group is a crucial driver in actualizing students' aspirations and shaping the future leaders of the engineering and construction sectors.  Our commitment lies in advancing industry sustainability and fostering a prosperous future for Hong Kong, enriching our community as a whole.
