On 21 May 2025, VTC and Chevalier Group celebrated their enduring collaboration at  the "Chevalier Group Scholarship Agreement Signing Ceremony” held at the Smart City Innovation Centre and STEAM Education Centre at the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Tsing Yi). The ceremony coincided with the 55th anniversary of Chevalier Group, reinforcing the shared commitment to "industry-academia partnership" in cultivating the next generation of professional talents for Hong Kong.

Over the years, VTC and Chevalier Group have shared a common vision of supporting student development through comprehensive initiatives including scholarships, industry visits, internships and employment opportunities. Since 2018, Chevalier Group has awarded annual scholarships to outstanding students pursuing Higher Diploma and Diploma of Vocational Education programmes in engineering, benefiting over 240 students to date.

In a significant milestone, VTC established the Innovative Construction Technology Centre with support from Chevalier Group. This state-of-the-art center is dedicated to enhancing practical training in cutting-edge construction technologies and raising industry standards. Following the signing ceremony, guests toured the Centre and engaged in insightful discussions on skills development and industry trends.

Mr Donald Tong, GBS, JP, Executive Director of VTC, expressed deep appreciation for Chevalier Group's longstanding partnership. He emphasized the critical role of continued collaboration in expanding learning opportunities for youth, enhancing their professional skills, and contributing to the growth of Hong Kong and the nation.
