      Chevalier Group Scholarship Celebrates Seven Years, Nurturing 280 Outstanding VTC Engineering Talents

    The 7th Chevalier Group Scholarship Presentation Ceremony was successfully held on 20 August 2025, welcoming over 100 distinguished guests.  Notable attendees included Chevalier Group’s Chairman, Mr Kouk Hoi Snag; Vice Chairman, Mr Oscar Chow; as well as department heads and colleagues from the Group The ceremony was hosted by Mr. Donald Tong, Executive Director of VTC, alongside senior directorates, department heads, staff, and the award-winning students.

    The ceremony celebrated outstanding engineering students from Higher Diploma and Diploma of Vocational Education programmes by awarding scholarships in recognition of  their outstanding academic achievements.  The event highlighted Chevalier Group’s steadfast commitment to supporting Vocational and Professional Education and Training (VPET) at VTC.

    Since its inception in 2018, the Chevalier Group Scholarship has recognized 280 students across a range of engineering programmes, including Civil Engineering, Surveying, Building Studies, Electrical Engineering, Computer & Electronic Engineering and more.  This initiative aims to cultivate top-tier engineering talent and foster sustainable development within the industry.

    Beyond financial support, the scholarship scheme offers industrial talks, internships, and employment opportunities, equipping students with hands-on experience and preparing them to tackle real-world challenges.  Through its strong partnership with VTC, Chevalier Group continues to nurture the next generation of engineering professionals in Hong Kong, empowering students to achieve their career goals and emerge as future leaders in engineering and construction.

    This year also marks Chevalier Group’s 55th Anniversary.  We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Group on this significant milestone and look forward to jointly promote sustainable industry growth and contribute to a brighter, and more prosperous future for Hong Kong.
