Vocational Training Council (VTC) extends heartfelt appreciation to CLP Power Hong Kong Limited (CLP) for the unwavering support to the students through the E-Learning Assistance Programme (Programme). This initiative is to address the e-learning needs of needy students by providing free iPads, Wifi Egg and data card. This Programme encourages the use of technology among students, fostering a culture of lifelong learning and personal development. VTC has received support from the Programme for the second consecutive year, benefitting over 220 Higher Diploma students.
One of the students who received an iPad under the programme in AY2023/24, CHOW Kei Hang from Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering, IVE (Haking Wong) in the interview with Ming Pao Daily News, said, “I did not have personal e-learning equipment in the past and had to rely solely on resources provided by the campus. This limited my personal study time, resulting in a noticeable lag behind my classmates. Now, with my own iPad, I can schedule my studies according to my timetable, revise course content and take notes anytime, anywhere, significantly improving my learning effectiveness. I am very grateful for the generous donation from the CLP.”
