During the 2024/25 academic year, the Yeung Kin Man Youth Industrial Incubation Programme organized a series of activities which included industrial talks, industrial visit to Huizhou and industrial project competitions. The activities cover areas of artificial intelligence applications, smart manufacturing, and digital transformation, providing students with an in-depth understanding of modern industrial operations and the latest industry trends. Through a series of activities that combine practical experience with theoretical knowledge, students can not only experience the innovative vitality and competitiveness of Hong Kong’s industries firsthand but also gain a deeper understanding of their roles in driving socio-economic development. The Programme aims to broaden young people's perspectives on industrial transformation and future career prospects, encouraging them to pursue careers in related fields. This will help cultivate professional talents for new industrialization, promote Hong Kong’s industrial development, and contribute to the sustainable growth of the society.
Established in the 2017/18 academic year with the generous support of Dr Yeung Kin-man, SBS, JP, the Programme has since benefited over 2,700 students in business administration, information technology, and engineering. This initiative significantly contributes to Vocational and Professional Education and Training (VPET) and supports Hong Kong's industrial development.
