Rotary District 3450 Donates HK$350,000 to Rotary Hong Kong Vocational Scholarship

Rotary District 3450 generously donated HK$350,000 to the Rotary Hong Kong Vocational Scholarship in 2026, continuing its partnership with VTC in nurturing outstanding vocational and professional talents. The Cheque Presentation Ceremony was held on 24 June at the Innovation and Technology Co-creation Centre at the IVE (Morrison Hill) campus.

Witnessed by members of the Scholarship Management Committee and Rotary District 3450, Ms Winnie Ngan, Acting Deputy Executive Director of VTC, received the donation cheque presented by Ms Cassy Cheng, District Governor of Rotary District 3450.

In her speech, Ms Ngan expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Rotary District 3450 for its longstanding support of VTC and vocational and professional education and training (VPET) over more than a decade. She noted that since its establishment in 2014, the Rotary Hong Kong Vocational Scholarship has played a vital role in supporting students as they steadily advance along their VPET pathways.

Ms Cheng remarked that she was greatly encouraged by the scholarship’s achievements over the years in nurturing talent and bringing positive and far-reaching changes to many students’ lives. She expressed the hope that the programme would continue to grow, benefitting more VTC students.
