VTC Annual Concert 2024 - In Celebration of the 200th Anniversary of Beethoven Symphony No.9: Masterpieces from Two Worlds

The VTC Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, composed of students, alumni and staff from the Vocational Training Council (VTC), will present their Annual Concert titled “In Celebration of the 200th Anniversary of Beethoven Symphony No. 9: Masterpieces from Two Worlds”. Under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Henry Shek, our Artistic Director and Conductor, the Orchestra and Chorus will celebrate the 200th anniversary of Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 and perform classical pieces including “Beethoven's Symphony No. 9”, “Finlandia” and “Butterfly Lovers Violin Concerto” under the theme of “Masterpieces from Two Worlds”. Our special guest, musician Mr. Leung Kin Fung, will also perform a violin solo in collaboration with the Orchestra and Chorus.
