The year 2026 marks the 50th Anniversary of the Apprenticeship Ordinance, a significant milestone in the development of vocational and professional education and training (VPET) in Hong Kong. The “50th Anniversary of Apprenticeship Ordinance cum Outstanding Apprentice Award Presentation Ceremony” will be held to commemorate this occasion and to recognise outstanding apprentices. Alongside, a series of activities, including Career Expo, Industry Talks and Skills Experience Sessions, will also be organised, offering the public an opportunity to gain understanding of apprenticeship training, and learn how professional skills can support one’s career development.
