“Building Fire Safety and Maintenance Awareness” Talk

Remark:

To enhance public understanding of building fire safety and maintenance obligations, and related regulatory framework, VTC will host a free talk on 31 January 2026 (Saturday), with a live broadcast available. The talk will be conducted in Cantonese by VTC experts, who will provide insights into current legislation, technical standards, and professional practices. Key topics include:

•    Regulatory framework including obligations under fire safety relevant legislation for buildings

•    Essential fire safety systems and their installations

•    Testing standards for building materials and fire resistant materials, and an introduction of accredited testing laboratories •    Good practices in daily safety management and incident response in residential property management

The talk is open to building owners, representatives of Owners’ Corporations, property management professionals, and members of the public with an interest in the subject. Free registration.
