"Boundless Passion: The Power of Comics across Cultures" Exhibition

The Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI) is hosting the "Boundless Passion: The Power of Comics across Cultures" exhibition, as well as the “Comic Begins Again…” Comic Club and Pop-Up Event. Visitors can fully immerse in nostalgic Hong Kong classics such as “Oriental Heroes” by the “Godfather of Hong Kong Comics” Tony Wong, the iconic Japanese works “Crayon Shin-chan”, and shed light on distinctive European gems. In addition, HKDI's "Comic Club" has officially opened, offering a collection of over 2,000 local and international comic books for free reading and viewing by students and the public. The Comic Club will also host free comic workshops, providing the public with an in-depth understanding of comic culture.
