2026 Manpower Surveys: Catering and Hotel Industries

The Hotel, Catering and Tourism Training Board (HOTB) of the Vocational Training Council (VTC) is conducting the 2026 Manpower Surveys of the Catering and Hotel Industries to collect the latest information on the manpower situation and training needs of the two industries.  The survey findings will inform recommendations on future manpower development and training.

We would be most grateful if companies invited to participate in the relevant survey could kindly complete and return the questionnaire.

VTC has appointed Mercado Solutions Associates Limited (MSA) to assist in conducting the surveys.  During the survey period, the enumerators of MSA will contact the invited companies to conduct interviews and assist in completing the questionnaires.  The information provided will be handled in strict confidence and published on an aggregate basis without reference to individual companies.  Upon completion of the surveys, the salient findings and the survey reports will be uploaded to the VTC Manpower Survey Information System:
