Attachment Examples

Attachment students are able to provide assistance in the following areas:

Accounting and Auditing

• Carry out basic duties of financial accounting, auditing, management accounting, tax services and corporate administration, and stocktaking activities

Health and Life Sciences

• Assist in conducting research, development, and testing on food and other products
• Perform simple laboratory tests
• Maintain equipment in a good state
• Compile simple technical reports

Customer Service

• Deal directly with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries
• Process orders, forms, applications and requests
• Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource

Design (Graphic)

• Give creative ideas, prepare draft visuals with illustration and assist artwork production
• Assist design work in branding, advertising or publication design, multimedia and animation, packaging, digital marketing, exhibitions design

Design (Multimedia)

• Create digital images for the purpose of animation
• Edit and manipulate digitally audio/video files
• Create artwork and animated sequences using computer software

Design (Product)

• Draft 3D design sketches, propose design concepts and create or modify drawings.
• Assist in conducting research, analyzing product, market trend and design projects of consumer electronics, electrical appliances and household products, toys, jewellery, timepieces, eyewear and lifestyle products.

Electrical Engineering

• Work in electric drive maintenance, electrical installation, electrical power systems, lighting design and building electrical services.

Engineering

• Conduct survey on existing equipment/services and user needs
• Draft a project plan and develop theoretical and engineering solutions to specific problems
• Perform experimental or investigatory work
• Build and test hardware and / or software
• Provide a cost analysis of development and / or production where appropriate.

Hotel Services

• Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations and hotel room assignments
• Register arriving guests and assign rooms
• Answer enquiries regarding hotel services and registration
• Compile and check daily record sheets, guest accounts, receipts and vouchers using computerized or manual systems

Information Technology

• Provide support in computer and information systems such as network and security, mobile, web, multimedia, animation, game design and other commercial applications.

Manufacturing

• Conduct factory audit and operation research, review production process, and take part in quality improvement

Marketing Coordination

• Assist in drafting marketing plans, produce posters, charts, graphs
• Prepare simple budget and financial reports
• Develop slide/sound presentations

Marketing Event and Promotion

• Assist in event coordination, marketing materials preparation, logistics support and handling customers’ enquiries

Market Research

• Design and conduct market research and analyse findings to make recommendation for product/service

Public Relations and Digital Media

• Assist in providing public relations functions and event coordination
• Conduct digital PR and multimedia communication work

Financial Technology

• Perform various financial technology services such as Fintech software and mobile payment development, User Experience Design, Blockchain and Cyber Security

Arts and Cultural Events Management

• Give ideas and assist in organizing various arts and cultural events
• Assist the operation of various arts and cultural venues

Fitness and Exercise Nutrition

• Perform community health promotion activities to the public
• Assist in designing exercise and diet plan 
• Assist in organizing various fitness and health events and workshops
