Mr HO Kar-hun was conferred the VTC Honorary Fellowship by the Council Chairman Mr Andrew LEUNG, SBS, JP at Graduation Ceremony 2009

Mr HO Kar-hun has over 50 years of experience in the printing industry. A widely respected leader in the field with a wealth of professional knowledge and experience, Mr Ho has provided invaluable input to the development of the industry. He is the Life Honorary President and a Member of the Executive Committee of the Hong Kong Printers Association. He is currently a Member of the Executive Committee of the Institute of Print-Media Professionals.
 

Mr Ho is committed to the development of vocational education and training in Hong Kong. He is a Member of the Printing and Publishing Industry Training Advisory Committee of the Education Bureau, providing expert advice to implementation of the Qualifications Framework, including the Recognition of Prior Learning mechanism for industry practitioners.
 

Mr Ho has made valuable contributions to VTC. He served the Printing and Publishing Training Board as Chairman from 1998 to 2007 and is now Advisor to the Board. He is a strong advocate for the Skills Upgrading Scheme administered by VTC, serving as Convener to the Printing and Publishing Industry Working Group. Currently he is the Chairman of the Management Committee of Advanced Printing Technology Centre Limited, set up in 1999, benefiting VTC students as well as in-service personnel in the latest digital print workflow knowledge, and providing professional advice to formulating printing standards for business operators in Mainland China. In 2009, he was appointed the Advisor of the Printing and Publishing Industry Training Group to provide advice on the courses offered by the Integrated Vocational Development Centre.
 

Mr Ho was awarded the Hong Kong Print Award in 2004 in recognition of his contribution to the industry. He is also a Visiting Professor of Wuhan University.
