    Mr Benson PAU Kit-kwan has been an industry guru in the houseware trading business since the 1980s.  He is a successful entrepreneur and a forerunner in transforming the trading business from sourcing to product design and provision of integrated services for upper market customers across the globe.  He is a well-respected entrepreneur and his company is a well-recognised SME in the export trade.
     

    Mr Pau has contributed greatly to the development of the industry.  He has been the Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Exporters’ Association (HKEA) since 2008.  He initiated and has been the Convenor of the “Hong Kong Smart Gift Design Award” for the Hong Kong Exporters’ Association since 2012, which helped encourage transformation of the industry and create competitive advantage through original product designs and brands.  Mr Pau is also the current Vice Chairman of the Import & Export Industry Training Advisory Committee set up by the Education Bureau, and provides continuous support to its development and promotes the Qualifications Framework to encourage industry practitioners pursuing lifelong learning.  His company, Wings Trading (HK) Company Limited, is one of the supporters for the SME Mentorship Programme under the Trade and Industry Department.
     

    Mr Pau devotes himself to supporting voluntary work in helping children suffering from cancer diseases.  Mr and Mrs Pau established “Pau Kwong Wun Charitable Foundation” in 1998, a Hong Kong registered non-profit charitable organisation, to serve childhood cancer families in Hong Kong and China.  He is also a keen supporter of Childhood Cancer International, a worldwide childhood cancer network.
     

    Mr Pau had served as Member of the Import/Export and Wholesale Trades Training Board of the VTC from 2004 to 2010.  Since 2010, Mr Pau has been the Chairman of the Training Board, advising on manpower needs of the industry, and also the direction and strategic development of relevant VPET programmes in VTC.  As a Training Board member, Mr Pau has spearheaded a “Workplace Attachment Programme” lining up member companies of the HKEA to provide various industry attachment opportunities to IVE students since 2006.
