    Ir Dr David HO Chi-shing was conferred the VTC Honorary Fellowship by then the Deputy Council Chairman Mr Joseph LEE, BBS, JP at Graduation Ceremony 2007

    Ir Dr David HO Chi-shing, JP is an expert in transport and logistics and has over 26 years of experience in ferry operations. He is currently the Chairman of the Logistics Industry Training Advisory Committee and a member of the Financial Services Focus Group of the Continuing Education Fund. He is also a Director of The Shipowners’ Mutual Protection & Indemnity Association (Luxemburg), a Council member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong, the Chairman of the Safety Committee of Outward Bound® Hong Kong and the Chairman of the Transport and Logistics Services Council (Group 21) of the Federation of Hong Kong Industries.

    Ir Dr Ho is currently the Chairman of the Transport Logistics Training Board and Discipline Advisory Board (Business Administration) and member of the Committee on Management and Supervisory Training at the VTC. He had served as a member of the Maritime Services Training Board. He supports the VTC by collaborating with the Hong Kong Centre for Transport and Logistics of IVE (Tsing Yi) to introduce a hi-tech innovative satellite cruise service to passengers, and inviting IVE design students to contribute creative ideas in the development of the North Point Ferry Terminal. Ir Dr Ho’s company has provided scholarships, training and employment opportunities to VTC students. He always provides constructive input and strategic directions to the Business Administration Discipline.
