Tin Ka Ping Foundation Donates to Enrich VTC Students' Learning Experience

The Vocational Training Council (VTC) has received a donation of HK$3 million from Tin Ka Ping Foundation (the Foundation) to support student development programmes to offer enhanced learning experience, promote global citizenship and uplift professional skills of VTC students.  Mr Sam Tin Hing-sin, Chairman of the Foundation Board, Mr Tin Wing Sin, Director of the Foundation and VTC Executive Director Mrs Carrie Yau officiated at the Cheque Presentation Ceremony held on 30 July at the Hong Kong Design Institute.

Riding on the momentum of the 8th Matching Grant Scheme, the donation will benefit more VTC students to widen their horizon through various learning exploration and discovery opportunities.  Supported programmes include service-learning trips, whole-person development activities and discipline-led exchanges held in China and overseas countries such as Cambodia, Nepal, Singapore, Malaysia, and Romania.
