Joint Scholarship Presentation Ceremony of the HKSAR Government Scholarship Fund and the Self-financing Post-secondary Education Fund 2023

On 25th April, the Education Bureau held the Joint Scholarship Presentation Ceremony 2022-23 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre to present scholarships and awards under the HKSAR Government Scholarship Fund and the Self-financing Post-secondary Education Fund. Over 5,500 students received the scholarships totalled about $170 million this year, including approximately 1,300 students from the Vocational Training Council (VTC) being awarded under nine (9) scholarships and awards and 8 awardee representatives were invited to attend the ceremony. The Scholarships were established to attract outstanding local students to advance their studies at home, and meritorious non-local students to pursue higher education opportunities in Hong Kong, and to promote the quality and sustainable development of the self-financing post-secondary sector. VTC representatives were invited to attend the ceremony to witness and share the joy of the awardees together.
