Final Project Presentation of the Innovation Award & Seed Fund Scheme powered by Dorsett Hospitality International

The student project team, granted with a gold award, successfully deployed their winning solution, the “BIM Integrated Online Power Monitoring Platform”, at the Waterfront Annex of the IVE (Haking Wong) campus.  The project stands as a testament to the generous support from Dorsett Hospitality International (DHI), together with the professional mentoring provided by the Innovation & Technology Co-creation Centre (ITCC) of VTC.

The Final Project Presentation took place on 18 January 2024, in the presence of representatives from DHI and the judging panel.  The project team demonstrated their innovative power consumption monitoring and control solution in an authentic building environment.  Additionally, they provided an update on the project's progress and highlighted significant milestones that were achieved throughout the journey.  This event marked the conclusion of the Innovation Award & Seed Fund Scheme powered by DHI.

Moreover, the “Knowledge-Graph based A.I. Community Rehabilitation Training and Treatment Support Platform (AI Platform)”, another project that received a silver award, has secured financial support from the Ideation Programme of the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks (HKSTP) to bring the project development to the next stage.
