The VTC has always been passionate about providing
students with a dynamic and supportive learning
environment where they can develop their skills and
maximise their potential.
Training Facilities Development
During the year, a number of capital projects have been
undertaken to create a quality learning and teaching
environment. One such newly completed project is the Wofoo
Foundation Dr Joseph Lee Whole Person Development
Education Centre, which provides indoor and outdoor
experiential and adventure-based training. In 2012/13,
more than 2,600 students under the Structured Whole
Person Development Programme have participated in the
adventure-based training day camps.
Construction of the International Culinary Institute at
Pokfulam, student dormitory at IVE (Tsing Yi) and THEi new
campus in Chai Wan, also capital projects, is well underway.
