Extensive Network and Resources
Leveraging the network and resources of its partners,
the VTC offers diverse ways for students to broaden their
industry knowledge and prepare for their future career.
The Career China Project launched under a collaborative
effort between the Federation of Hong Kong Industries
and the VTC is an example. Through participation in
the programmes, students are able to gain a better
understanding on the latest industrial development and
employment prospects in the Mainland. The YIC Education
Programme organised by the Hong Kong Young Industrialists
Council also enabled VTC students to learn from industry
experts and provided them with attachment opportunities
to work at their members’ businesses. Other attachment
programmes included IT Buddies Programme by the Boys’
and Girls’ Clubs Association of Hong Kong; the Microsoft
Summer Coding Camp by Microsoft (Hong Kong); Weborganic
Seed School Industrial Attachment Programme by
Weborganic; GTI Industrial Attachment Programme by Global
Technology Integrator.
Industry Collaborations
During the year, our relationships with industry partners
continued to grow through co-operative arrangements for
training, industrial attachments and other collaborations.
Examples include the Memoranda of Understanding
with SGS Hong Kong and Zhongshan Centre for Disease
Control and Prevention on joint training or attachment
programmes. We also entered into agreement with a number
of corporations including Hong Kong Trade Development
Council, Ocean Park and Hong Kong Association of Property
Service Agents to offer industrial attachment opportunities
for our students.

合辦的神州青雲路就
業計劃就是一例。學生透過參與計劃，對內
地的最新行業發展和就業前景更為了解。香
港青年工業家協會主辦的
YIC
青年教育培訓計
劃，不但讓
VTC
學生從業界專家身上學習，
更為他們安排到會員機構內實習。其他的工
作實習機會包括：香港小童群益會的上網學
習伙伴計劃、微軟香港的應用程式夏令營、
有機上網的種籽學校工作實習計劃、
Global
Technology Integrator
的
GTI
工作實習計劃等。
業界協作
年內，我們與業界的伙伴關係更形鞏固，
攜手安排多項培訓、工作實習和其他協作
項目。
我們與香港通用檢測認證有限公司、中山市
疾病預防控制中心等簽訂合作備忘錄，共同
開辦培訓課程或實習項目。我們又與多間機
構達成協議，包括香港貿易發展局、海洋公
園、香港物業管理服務協會，為學生提供工
作實習機會。
