The Vocational Training Council (VTC) aspires to be a
trusted partner of business, industry and the community and
endeavours to establish longstanding mutually beneficial
relations with them. Towards this end, the VTC has actively
engaged with industries, professional organisations and
government departments through offering an array of
vocational education and training (VET) programmes,
consultancy services and joint projects with industries.
During the year, we have continued to strengthen our
partnership with industries by all means. For example,
training courses on occupational health and safety in
arboriculture and identification of common trees in Hong
Kong were launched to meet the increasing training needs.
Courses on Chinese catering sales and marketing training,
and fishermen training were organised with the Association
for Hong Kong Catering Services Management, and the
Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department.
The Jockey Club Heavy Vehicles Emissions Testing and
Research Centre has also provided testing, research and
consultancy services to government departments and major
corporations.

年內，我們繼續在多方面與業界鞏固伙伴
關係。例如，我們推出樹藝職業健康與安全、
辨識香港常見樹木等培訓課程以回應殷切的
需求；又與香港餐務管理協會合辦中菜營銷及
市場推廣培訓，與漁農自然護理署協辦漁民
訓練等。
我們的賽馬會重型車輛排放測試及研究中
心，亦為政府部門及大型企業提供測試、研
究及顧問服務。
