The VTC has gathered representatives from major trade
associations and unions, professional bodies, educational
and training institutes, and government departments to form
21 Training Boards and five General Committees.
The Training Boards and General Committees support
the manpower development needs of industries and
vocational education and training in Hong Kong. Comprising
stakeholders in nearly all major sectors in Hong Kong, the
Training Boards and General Committees play an important
advisory role in setting out directions, strategic development
and quality assurance mechanisms for VTC programmes.
Recognition of Exemplary Contributions
The VTC Honorary Fellowship is the highest award of the
VTC for distinguished individuals who have made significant
contributions to the development of VET in Hong Kong and
are staunch supporter in VTC’s services.
