域教育樞紐。

月成立國際發展科，以制
訂相關的策略及營運架構。
我們於
2012/13
年首次取錄非本地生。來自
世界各地的學生，包括中國內地生入讀高級
文憑課程。
我們的國際化工作還包括增潤課程內容、為
師生提供交流機會、參與海外考察和國際賽
事等機會，營造有利的文化及氛圍，為學生
提供跨文化工作體驗，擴闊國際視野。
In today’s globalised world, the internationalisation of
education is vital to ensure the competitiveness of Hong
Kong. The Government has been driving internationalisation
and diversification of education across different spheres in
recent years, aiming to consolidate Hong Kong’s role as a
regional education hub.
In support of the Government’s move, the Vocational
Training Council (VTC) has embraced internationalisation
as a shared focus on driving Hong Kong as a leading
education hub. In the past year, we have stepped up efforts
on internationalisation at all levels. The International
Development Division was established in March 2013 to
further develop the strategies and operational structure to
realise the goals.
In 2012/13, the VTC welcomed the first batch of non-local
students. Students from different parts of the world including
the Mainland have been enrolled to the Higher Diploma (HD)
programmes during the year.
Our internationalisation efforts also include curricula
enhancement, student and staff exchanges, overseas field
trips and participation in international competitions. Through
these activities, we hope to forge a culture and environment
conducive to internationalisation and provide opportunities
for students to acquire cross-cultural work experience and
enhance their international outlook.
