Strong Linkage with the Mainland and Macao
The VTC continued to forge close relationships with Mainland
universities and businesses, which provided students with
opportunities for internships, service learning, research and
training. A number of collaborative agreements were signed
in 2012/13. These included Memoranda of Understanding
on training and exchange programmes with Hebei Education
Department, Ningbo Education Bureau and the Guangdong
Occupational Skill Testing Authority.
At the same time, we sought to contribute to the
development of vocational education and training (VET) in
the Mainland. One example was our collaboration with the
Guangdong Occupational Skill Testing Authority. During the
year, VTC continued to render advice to Guangdong Industrial
Design Institute (partner institute of Hong Kong Design
Institute) in Nanhai in the areas of curriculum development,
management structure and quality assurance. A number of
exchange activities were organised for students, such as
design workshop hosted by overseas master and industrial
attachments in Nanhai region, as well as visits for Hong
Kong industry associations.
Collaborations with our Macao counterparts also gathered
pace in 2012/13. Echoing the Macao government’s
endeavours to help upgrade its workers’ skills and
capabilities, the VTC continued to respond to the training
needs of our partners – the Labour Affairs Bureau of Macao,
the Youth Affairs Bureau of Macao and others – in the areas
of Vocational English Programme, Professional Diploma in
Property Management, ProTools Certification and Incubation
Programmes and other experience sharing sessions.
We also received a multitude of visitors, with over 50
delegations of approximately 2,200 delegates from the
Mainland during the year.
與內地及澳門緊密聯繫

繼續與內地大學及工商業界加強合作，為
學生提供工作實習、服務學習、研究項目及
其他培訓。
2012/13
年內，我們與多家內地
機構達成合作協議，包括與河北省教育廳、
寧波市教育局、廣東省職業技能鑒定指導
中心簽署合作備忘錄。
對於內地專業教育培訓的發展，我們亦大力
支持，例如與廣東省職業技能鑒定指導中心
合作，於年內繼續向設於南海的廣東工業
設計培訓學院（香港知專設計學院合作院校）
提供有關課程發展、管理架構和質素保證方
面的建議；同時為雙方學生提供舉辦交流機
會，包括海外大師設計工作坊、南海工作實
習，及安排香港的行業協會參觀訪問等。

亦響應澳門政府政策，為提升就業人士的
技術及才能出力，於
2012/13
年繼續與澳門
勞工事務局、澳門教育暨青年局等多個伙伴
合作，提供職業英語、物業管理專業文憑、
影音編輯工具
ProTools
證書等課程及企業培育
計劃，並舉辦其他交流活動。
年內，我們接待了超過
50
個內地訪問團共約
2,200
名不同機構的人士。
