The results of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (DSE) will be released next Wednesday (10 July). The Vocational Training Council (VTC) provides diversified and flexible progression pathways in vocational and professional education and training (VPET). In academic year 2019/20, VTC will offer more than 140 full-time programmes that range from Degree to Higher Diploma, Diploma of Foundation Studies, Diploma of Vocational Education and Diploma. Students are invited to submit late applications now through the VTC Admissions webpage (www.vtc.edu.hk/admission), then join the VTC Central Admission Scheme on the DSE results release day.
On the day of DSE results release, VTC’s member institutions – including all campuses of the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE), the Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI), and the Chai Wan campus of the Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi) – will be open to receive applications for VTC programmes. DSE candidates will be invited to attend on-site interviews and successful applicants will then be notified of the offer results on the day of the interview. (General entrance requirements are set out in Annex 1.)
Meanwhile, “conditional offers” that applicants have received earlier will be converted to confirmed offers if their DSE results meet stipulated requirements on the results release day.
