Announcement of New Directorate Appointment

​​​​​​​Mr YIU Man-kin Lupin

Mr Yiu Man-kin has been appointed as Assistant Executive Director.  He assumes the role of Director of Quality Enhancement and Learning & Teaching. He is responsible for leading the Quality Enhancement and Accreditation Office and the Centre for Learning and Teaching, for the enhancement of quality and learning and teaching, and accreditation matters.

Mr Yiu possesses extensive experience in quality assurance and enhancement, quality review, staff development, benchmarking studies and a wide range of VPET and academic accreditation.  He is a National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs, UK) assessor of work-based assessment and occupational competence.  Prior to joining the VTC, he had managerial experience in fleet management and educational administration.  In the VTC while working in the Business Discipline, he assisted in strategic planning and module rationalization.  Prior to this directorate appointment, he served as Project Manager cum Deputy Director of the Quality Enhancement and Accreditation Office of the VTC.

Mr Yiu holds a Professional Diploma in Business Studies (Transport) (Hong Kong Polytechnic), a Bachelor’s degree in Professional Communication (University of New England, Australia) and a Master’s degree of Business Administration (University of Kent, UK)
