Announcement of New Directorate Appointment

Ms SHUM Jiu-fai, Alaina

Ms SHUM Jiu-fai, Alaina has been appointed as Deputy Executive Director to oversee the strategic development of the Business Discipline. She is also committed to developing strategic collaboration with local industry partners and major stakeholders in the Greater Bay Area and overseas countries on vocational and professional education and training (VPET).

Ms SHUM has more than 25 years extensive experience in various industries including transportation, airlines and logistics. Prior to joining the VTC, she had held senior management positions with the Airport Authority Hong Kong as well as various regional and global companies. Moreover, she was appointed as Director of Hong Kong - Zhuhai Airport Management Company Limited from June 2010 to July 2014.

Ms SHUM holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics and Actuarial Science (University of Toronto) and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (University of Sydney).
