Terms of Reference of Administration Committee

1. To formulate policy proposals on human resources and public relations issues for the consideration of the Council and the Standing Committee.
    
2. To approve extension of service of non-directorate Teaching and Equivalent Administrative Staff beyond the normal retirement age.
    
3. To advise and approve the structure of selection boards for different levels of appointments.
    
4. To determine disciplinary penalties to be imposed for non-directorate staff of Senior Lecturer rank or equivalent and above, and to approve removal of such staff.
    
5. To decide on appeals against disciplinary actions from staff below Senior Lecturer rank or equivalent.
    
6. To set up sub-committees it considers necessary.
