Announcement of New Directorate Appointment

Mr CHEUNG Sau-shing Cavan

Mr CHEUNG has been appointed as Assistant Executive Director. He assumes the role of Head of Finance and Supplies Division. He is responsible for overseeing the Council’s financial and supplies operations and providing strategic financial guidelines and advice to the management to ensure the financial healthiness of the Council.

Mr CHEUNG is a seasoned finance and accounting professional with more than 30 years’ extensive experience in financial planning and management, risk management, procurement, corporate affairs, corporate governance and company secretarial functions, covering a wide range of industries, such as the public bodies, real estate, hospitality and manufacturing industries.

Mr CHEUNG holds an Executive Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from the City University of Hong Kong. He is a Fellow of both the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He is also a Chartered Secretary, a Chartered Governance Professional and a Fellow of both The Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute (formerly known as The Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries) and The Chartered Governance Institute (formerly known as The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators).
