    “The Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarships Vocational Education Scholarship Awardee Sharing Session 2020” was held first time in the form of live-broadcast this year, during which all awardees enjoyed the exchanges through this virtual gathering.  The online session with the three new degree scholarship recipients of this year orchestrating the event as M.C.; both awardees from Hong Kong and overseas interacted with each other beyond boundaries.  Ms Winnie Yip, Executive Manager, Charities (Grant Making – Arts, Culture, Heritage and Talent Development) of The Hong Kong Jockey Club, encouraged students to pursue their dreams with passion in their professional development.  An industry expert in digital and social media marketing, Mr Ralph Szeto, the Director of 2 Likes was also invited as a guest to share his valuable career development pathway, students gained many insights from his inspiring story.  
     
    In addition, two VTC alumni who completed their degree programmes under the HKJC degree scholarship also presented in the event.  Ms Winnie Lo, graduated from a design programme of the Central Saint Martins in the U. K.; and Mr Marco Ma, graduated of an engineering degree from the University of Plymouth, revealed their secrets of maximizing their exposures in their overseas study journeys.  Ms Winne Ngan, Director of the Institutional Advancement Office of VTC expressed her sincere gratitude for the generosity of the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust.  Since 2016/17, The Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarships have supported more than 50 graduates from the Diploma of Vocational Education in pursuit of Higher Diploma and also 12 Higher Diploma graduates to pursue further studies at the undergraduate level in overseas institutions in the fields related to Aerospace, Marine, Environmental, Architecture, Design and Hospitality.
