Chevalier Group Scholarship for Outstanding Engineering Students

The Chevalier Group, established in 2018, aims to groom local talents in the fields of engineering and construction. It was an evidence of the industry’s recognition of vocational and professional education and training (VPET) and the pressing needs for manpower equipped with professional knowledge and skills.  

This year, 40 outstanding engineering students from the Diploma of Vocational Education and Higher Diploma programmes were awarded a scholarship of HK$10,000 and HK$40,000 each respectively.  A total of 120 students in the areas of civil engineering, surveying, building services engineering, electrical engineering, and computer and electronic engineering were benefited from the scholarship since its establishment. 

VTC is thankful to the Chevalier Group for offering scholarships to recognize the achievements of students and training the younger generation who will in turn help driving the industry sustainable development.  Chevalier Group has been a long-standing partner of VTC by providing internship opportunities for students in various areas, such as electrical and mechanical engineering, lift maintenance and environmental engineering, and allowing them to grasp practical skills for their future career development.
